Boston Harbor, Massachusetts 3-D Nautical Chart, 13"x17"
From lobster rolls and duck boat tours to the romance of the Liberty Fleet, Boston Harbor is known for its incredible sights, sounds, and tastes. Whether you prefer spending time on the open water or strolling through Harvard Yard, our wood map of Boston Harbor will bring back your favorite memories of this vibrant New England town.
Boston Harbor serves as the estuary of Massachusetts Bay and is well known for its role in the American Revolution, specifically as the site of the Boston Tea Party in 1773. Boston Harbor spans nearly fifty square miles and is home to dozens of islands, thirty-four of which are part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. Our 3D wood nautical map depicts the harbor, Massachusetts Bay, and Little Brewster Island. Chelsea, Dorchester, and Winthrop, Massachusetts are also showcased.
We make each of our wood maps with Baltic birch. Thin layers of the wood are laser-cut to model the landscape of the harbor’s floor accurately and then expertly glued together to form depth and dimension you won’t find anywhere else. Once the map is in place, an artist hand-stains the surrounding water a vibrant blue-green, and the points of interest, landmarks, and main streets are etched into the birch. The lake art is finished with a solid wood frame and an ultra-transparent acrylic glass top.
Showcase the beauty of Boston Harbor with this incredible lake art.
